Using my clothesline is a money saver!
I will hang out about 5 to 6 loads of clothes a week. Sometimes more and sometimes less.
I find it relaxing and an opportunity to get outside and enjoy the afternoon.
It is a great way for me to save on my electric bill. But I think it all balances out, because I tend to turn on the AC early in the year. :)

I must get a new clothes line and do this when the weather is good. I am sure my toddlers would love to help pass me clothes and pegs too. I just hate having to keep an eye on the weather and running out side when it rains!
Rachel,
When we start the rainy season (usually midsummer) I don't use the clothesline as much if at all. The clothes never get dry between the high humidity and the daily afternoon showers....
So bad there is not place to do that in my apartment!!!!!!!
I am really looking forward to once again having a clothesline. When we resided the addition it got taken down and not put back up as yet...I really miss it! I feel kind of quilty too when the sun is shining and it is a beautiful day and I am turning on the dryer.
Blessings,
Liisa
