Menu Planning Monday
Last week I actually took the time to write prepare a weekly menu. Surprisingly enough it worked quite well. To prepare the weekly menu, I went over the grocery store circulars and what I had on hand and came up with a grocery list. I kept the shopping costs around 120.00 dollars. So, I am going to do that again this week.
Monday: Ham and Potato Soup
Tuesday: Baked Spaghetti, Tossed Salad
Wednesday: Eggs, Bacon and Grits
Thursday: Pork Chops, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Whole Wheat Biscuits, Tossed Salad
Friday: Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup (Easy!!)
Saturday: Italian Christmas Dinner (catered)
Sunday: Leftovers from Saturday

Two things I love lists and eating so having a shopping list and a menu really appeal to me.
I write myself out a menu go into the Aldi website and make up a shopping list of the things I need from my menu, and the rest as they say is history, plus I find I save money.
Good for you!!!! it sure helps the budget to have a plan for grocery spending!!!!
I am a bid advocate of this. Once you get it down, it saves time and money.
Your menu looks good.
Your menu looks very good. We would love the Ham and Potato Soup. Thank you for sharing and you have a great week!
Ha! I'm catering Christmas Eve dinner too! Italian too! Great minds think alike! :)!
Looks like an awesome week of meals. The week seems to go by so much smoother when you can prepare ahead.

I need to get back to doing this. When we plan menus there are usually no surprises and I save money. I'm so lazy these days.
