Our Visit To the Pumpkin Patch

This Saturday we took our grandson to the local "Pumpkin Patch" so he could pick out his pumpkin for Halloween.  His parents had taken him earlier in the month, but the grandparents (us) wanted to take him to the "Pumpkin Patch" too.

The "Patch" was  sponsored by a local boyscout troop and held at a local church.  We picked up the grandson, and off we went to see what kind of pumpkins he was going to choose.

As adults, my husband and I thought he would want to get the biggest pumpkin possible. Not so much.  He really had no interest in the BIG pumpkins.

He definitely went for the smaller ( in our eyes) pumpkins.  But it is all about perspective, isn't it?  These tiny pumpkins were the perfect size for him.

It was a great day for picking pumpkins!   And definitely not expensive.  We bought these three little pumpkins for $1.50.

I think you've got a very frugal grandson there lol! I like the wee ones too. I like the way you have your photos framed - very retro looking ;)

I love little pumpkins! I used to always buy one to put on my desk for Halloween. One time I tried to carve one but it was too hard to cut through so I ended up just drawing a face on with a sharpie. :) Great pics!

Yeah... those little tiny pumpkins sure are not made for carving!! The sharpie is the way to go!
