The best thing they every made was Slow Cooker Crock Pot Liners. I use my crock pot weekly, and the worse thing about using a crock pot is the clean up.
With the Crock pot liners, you can cook your meal in the crock pot and as soon as your are done, you just lift out the bag and voila, you have a practically clean crock pot! Wipe it out with warm soapy water and let it dry. You are ready to go again!
Addendum: According to "Good Housekeeping" the Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners are PBA free and safe to use.

I was recently introduced to these and they are cool. I wish I had them when I had my old crock pot as it did not have a removable "pot" and clean-up was a real pain. My new(er) one has a removable pot that can go in the dishwasher, and that helps make clean-up easy.
i need to get some of these. I love my crockpot, but hate the clean up.
I didn't even know there WERE crockpot liners - I will check next time I'm in the grocery store. We use our crockpot a LOT!
Interesting idea but in my mind not very green. I would rather wash the dish than buy plastic liners. Plus, do you know- are the BPA free?
I use these in my crockpot too, and every time I say, "one of the best inventions ever". My crockpot is really large and my sink is split into two parts, so it's really hard to get it into the sink to clean.
Honestly, I am extremely sceptical of these being safe - really heating food for 8 hours in a plastic bag? think about all the issues plastics leeching into our food has caused in the past - not worth it to me. I fill my crock with water as soon as it is empty and for dried on food, I turn the crock for an hour to loosen it up. Not good for the environment or our bodies.
I agree with Kim below. Cooking plastic for several hours adds bad chemicals to your food. We don't use plastic cover in microwave as well for the same reason. I'm sure it does not cause that much harm to our bodies but I would like to stay on the safe side...
Oh, I need some of those. Thanks for stopping by.

This post reminds me that I need a new Crock Pot. Mine was in my fridge a few years ago when we had a big ice storm and lost power for 9 days. By the time I was able to go back home, I just threw the whole thing away because it was so disgusting.
Anyway, at that time, I didn't know about the liners or I can assure you I would've been using them! When I buy another one, I'll be sure it's compatible with the liners. Maybe not the most environmentally friendly tool, but one I'm willing to try nonetheless.
Hi Andrea!
The liners really make it so darn easy!
Thanks to you too Joyce!
I understand your point of view. Thanks for the comment!
The liners rock!
Hi Miss T,
According to Good Housekeeping the liners are BPA free. I appreciate your opinion very much!
Once you use them, you will never go back to a naked crock pot!
They are the best!
Clean up is not to be dreaded now!
I don't have a crock pot, but this is pure genius! Scrubbing hard to clean stains almost makes me not want to cook. Happy New Year!
Everyone needs a crock pot!! And Happy New Year to You!
