Publix and Digital Coupons

 

On my way to work this morning, I passed by Publix. I have been experimenting a bit with their digital coupon website.

Yesterday, I registered and went through ALL the coupons and selected every one of them. I just wanted to cover all my bases.

I specifically remembered that Barilla past sauce was. On sale BOGO for $2.59. I also remembered that I checked a digital coupon for Barilla @ 0.75 cents.

For $1.84 I now have two additional jars of spaghetti sauce. And I know that the digital coupons work. The website also let's you select and print a list of your digital coupons that you want to use. I forgot to do that.

 

Yesterday At Publix

Yesterday at Publix I stocked up on several BOGOs

Eight O clock Coffee... this is our favorite. 8 total bags. I had 3 one dollar coupons.
Ranier Cherries .... these are wonderful! I had a 2 dollar IP from Food Lion
Stocked up on Gatorade... hubs needs this for the week. There were 2/3.00 So I bought 10.
They are usually 2/5.00

There were a few more things.. grand total was 93.00 dollars
AFTER Coupons, BOGO advertised specials,Advantage savings..

I ended up spending 62.16 WITH a savings of 53.73 (did not factor in taxes... but they never go away do they:)

Grocery Budget Update for April

Here we go... True Confessions! I went to the Grocery Store (Publix) on Sunday. I started out pretty good. I had the flyer coupon for "Buy 3 coke 12 paks, get one free" . I thought, Well I am off to a good start, I had a coupon. Yea! After that, it was downhill. Woosh!!!! I accumulated a whole grocery cart of stuff ( No List, bad, very bad!) that in the end, totaled 121.00. How did that happen?

Easy. Poor planning. No List. And No Coupons.

Saturday Savings at Publix....

Stocking up the Pantry this weekend, and when I saw this deal at MoneySavingMom for Classico Pasta Sauce I just had to print the coupons and pick a few for future use.

Here is the deal I used:

Publix Grocery Shopping

Went to Publix today for the weekly groceries. It had been about two weeks since I went shopping shopping. (That's where I have to stock up on just about everything). So tell me, where does 145.00 dollars go?!! Wow.

Okay, so I did buy some extra things that were not on the list. Hummus. I love hummus. It is a great snack with some toasted pitas.... yummy! Anyway, put that under the category of "Impulse Buying". Oh yes,,, there is more in that category. Frozen Pizzas. But they were on sale! Two for 9.00 dollars. But there were not on the list. And did I mention that Publix had Ice Cream (store brand) on sale 3 for 10.00 dollars?? Yep. MORE impulse shopping.

Oh well. I should be good for another week to ten days. ( I Hope). I love to shop at Publix!!!
Did I mention I saved 30.00 dollars??? Publix had some great BOGO'S.

PUBLIX

For those of you that live near a Publix, I wanted to share. I did a little grocery shopping to day at Publix and when I finished handing my manufacturer coupons to the cashier, I saw a 5/30 CVS coupon peeking out of my purse pocket. Publix has a policy of honoring competitor coupons and YES!!! the cashier used my 5/30 CVS on my bill. Yoo Hoo!! I will have to keep these on hand for my Publix runs!!
