The month of July is drawing to a close this week. This month has been a busy month with work, vacation and work. We had a great time on vacation but now it is time to get back to restoring order to my finances.
I went through my monthly bills and have roughly budgeted my money and set some goals for next month.
I have budgeted 500.00 dollars for groceries next month.......yes....I know that seems excessive for two people.....but ......I am really striving to keep it below 500.00. this amount includes personal care items as well. I am working on a loosely structured monthly menu (something I really have never done before) and will plan this menu according to sales at the store.
I think it is doable.....Just have to leave the hubs at home when I go to the grocery store :)

$500 isn't excessive when your include non grocery items too such as personal care, pet food, toilet paper, make-up, ect. Your doing great
Thanks Marilyn!. I have been down this road before, but I have a short attention span, and.....well, here I am again. Trying to save a few bucks!
