Getting Caught Up

It seems that no matter how fast you go, you just can't get caught up.  Does time seem to be going faster for you too?  Our grandson spent the night with us last night, and he left about 4PM today.  It goes without saying that all the things I had planned to do today, did not get done. But that is okay with me.... I enjoy every moment with the little boy.

After the grandson was picked up, I then had to get ready to meet some friends from work at a local high school.  The drama club was putting on one night of comedy improv as a fundraiser and the kids were really funny!  We had a great time and a lot of laughs, all for $5.  You just can't beat that!

My husband is getting all the small fix-it jobs done around this house.  Touch up painting of the house inside and out, repairs of the privacy fence, and more junk hauled off.  We still have not heard about the short sale house that we an offer on, but we are patient. Well,  most days we are patient...

I know many of you are getting ready for Sharon's "No-Spend Challenge" for February, I know all of you will do great.  I will be cheering for all of you from the sidelines.  February is a big birthday month for me, and  until my birthday/ baby shower/anniversary gift category gets a little more money in it, I am going to have to find the money in my current budget.

I am working on my monthly statistics and will post that info soon.

It just makes you wonder why on earth they call them short sales when they drag on for ever, good luck with that.

I had my youngest Grandchild for a couple of hours today, it,s what keeps you young.

That's right "short sales" is a funny name, especially when they take sooooooo long!

Lisa, glad you'll be on the sidelines cheering..I'll need all the help I can get!!! :)!

What a pleasant and inexpensive weekend you've had. AND you sure can't do a NO spend in the month when you have your own birthday!!!

Jane,
yes it was a relaxing weekend, much needed if I might say so! The birthdays are my husband (Valentine's day Birthday no less), my son J's birthday is Feb 13th, and two grand children plus a good friend's son's birthday. Almost too many to count!
