When you least expect it, Good things come in the mail. Today, I received a refund check for $138.00 from my previous Power Company. I am still waiting on a refund check from my Cable provider too. I have the same cable provider, but since we moved to a different county we had to change the location that we receive service from. Since moving here, we have not yet received our first power bill from our new provider. Since it has been hotter than blazes these last couple of week, that bill should be something to see.
As a preemptive precaution, I will hold onto the refund checks and see how much our electric bill is going to be. Otherwise, things are good. I am still figuring out my new budget, and will post more about that later. I guess you can say the pieces of the puzzle are slowly coming together.

Yay on the refund chqs!! I'm waiting on a couple of those too! I'm kind of floundering with our budget too, because our income is dropping by a LOT, but I won't know by how much until it actually is deposited in my account. :/
