The goal that was put on my heart was to facilitate sending 100 shoeboxes. Our little church stepped it up and sent 41 boxes. I had 45 boxes that I packed sponsored. Two friends each packed 6 boxes. That brought the total up to 98. This morning in church one box was brought in by a young family and a lady that originally took a box to fill decided to give 20.00 to send a box online. God's hand was definitely in this project!
My heart was filled with such joy to see the wonderfully packed boxes. Just to know that each box I handled would be opened by a child somewhere across the world brought tears to my eyes. It was such a blessing for me.
Here we are at the collection center with a table full of our shoeboxes.
Can't wait to do it again next year!
