Do you trust it? A lot of surveys can be scams or cause virus on the computer. I would like to do that to gain some extra money, but some companies require you to pay a fee to join.
So far I have made $30. They sent the check when they said they would. I haven't received any SPAM. I've been doing it about 3 months. Not difficult, only slightly time consuming.
Just a comment to Craig-I have used Opinion Outpost and they do pay out. I am on many other survey sites that do pay out either with cash or with points that you can turn into rewards like paypal cash, gift cards, etc... Just do a search and you can find many :) One of my faves is Pinecone Research and it is hard to get on-you have to watch for invites to it. They pay to your paypal account. My plan for all my survey earning for this year is to save up all the money and rewards for Christmas :) Im thinking I will have a pretty good penny (or pretty good dollar amount) by then :) Another place I like is SwagBucks.com-use it to do your searches and they give you 'bucks' which you can turn in for prizes, or like I did, Amazon gift cards. I made $20 last year within a few months which I used toward some Christmas items and a cd download :)
Craig,
I do trust Opinion Outpost. I have been able to earn samll amounts of cash without any problem. They do not asy your for an type of payment to participate. As Jenthorpe said, it can be slightly time consuming.
Debbie,
I am still trying to get hooked up with Pinecone Research... Have applied but still not response.
You can earn a significant amount of cash by participatin in online surveys and such.
A buck is a buck!!
I've never had any problems with Opinion Outpost or Pinecone. Opinion Outpost mails actual checks and I believe they are working to make the process quicker (usually takes about a month from requesting your check until you receive it). Like someone else mentioned, Pinecone pays directly to your PayPal account (if you select that option) or will send you checks. Personally I got tired of receiving checks for $3 and having to go to the bank just to deposit that check so the PayPal option works for me. I keep the money in there until I need/want something from Ebay and then pay from there.
Both sites can send tiresome, boring surveys. I can't tell you how many times I've answered the same set of questions regarding my dog's eating habits, but hey, free money is free money!
