Nope...... It did not happen.

Nope..... we did not close Wednesday.  Since Hubs switched jobs they are using my income to qualify for the loan.   I did not qualify by 65.00 dollars.  Sooooooo.......The mortgage broker ( who is ready to be done with us AND this ordeal) has figured out a way to find that money in our budget.  He found us lower homeowners insurance for both homes, and he said that should make the underwriter happy.  Heard THAT before.

I hear that they are planning on having the closing tomorrow afternoon.  We shall see.  We shall see......

I am sick physically from this mess.  My stomach has been in knots all night and a fever to boot.... I want to call in sick tomorrow.... Seriously.

Stupid Short Sale.

This is ridiculous, what the government will put us through now that this mortgage mess has everyone in a dither. No one will qualify for a loan. I am sorry.

I hope this ends soon and you feel better. This just really sucks, I am going to dross both fingers for you today.

So close! I hate that it's making you ill - it's supposed to be such a happy and exciting time. :( I hope the fix your realtor made is the final fix! Thinking of you!

You can only control so much. Just relax and see how it goes. You've done everything that you can at this point.

Sad to hear, I hope it's over soon, sounds like a pain...

I am so sorry to hear this. Just terrible. Don't let the stress hurt your health. Squeeze in some quiet time, away from the mess. In my eyes $65 is a ridiculous excuse. That bank has some serious issues.

OMG I have been away for quite a while and hoped that this mess would have been all sorted out by now, so near and yet so far away. Good luck.

No house is worth this stress. If it doesn't work out this time I'd walk away. If the bank wants to lose a sure sale over mere dollars let them.

I have no intention of moving again for a very long time, but if I do I know I will not even consider a short sale after reading about what you and countless others have had to deal with.

Ugh, Lisa. I'm so sorry you have had to go through that. I hope it ends up in your favor, and you can be done with this. What a mess the banking and mortgage system has made for itself.

Buying a home is so stressful. And even more so when things don't go as planned.

When we bought our house, we used a "friend" as the mortgage broker. Mistake. It was the day of the supposed closing that I called him to make sure that everything was set. He said that he did not think that it was the right house and did not put the finishing paperwork through.

We can laugh about it now, but there were some very stressful days. Good luck on the rest of your journey.
