Monday Morning

This weekend was busy, busy,  busy.  I attended a work related conference Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Luckily it was local, and I was able to drive back and forth each day.  There were some attendees that came from as far north as Tallahassee and as far south as Miami.  I did not prepare a weekly menu, I just did not have time.  Hoping not to regret that decision.

The new job is okay.  I don't sound that excited do I?  I realize it will take time to get use to a new routine, a new computer and a new ultrasound machine.  I am going to make to make the best of it.  I am striving to get out on time and not have to stay til 6 PM every night.  The front will add on patients like crazy, and the schedule is already full.  It is almost too much.  But, I will talk to the the manager and she what she thinks.

Time to get ready for work.  Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Lisa,
I miss your menu! It took me almost 6 months to feel comfortable at my new job. We are an office of 4 women....I've been there 1 1/2 years and am very comfortable now. Give it some time, it will get better.

I'm actually having an internal ultrasound done today....it's always something with me, but hopefully everything will turn out okay.

I was also super busy this weekend and we didn't do our grocery shopping as usual, instead making one trip to the nearest store. This week is going to be busy too so we bought stuff to cook that required little prep time. Our usual grocery budget of $25 swelled to $40 this week, but I'm letting it go since we're getting so much done.

It's okay to cut yourself some slack from time to time! :)

It does take time to get comfortable in a new job... Although I'd personally just stay a little later rather than talk to the manager at this stage - but maybe that would just set a bad precedent.
