Operation Christmas Child 2013 Update:

Operation Christmas Child is a long way off. The drop off for shoeboxes is usually in early November. I am excited to again coordinate this event at two churches this year. Last year at my primary church( and with the help of you) we managed to send in 100 shoeboxes.
This year I will be working with another church that is bigger in size. The thought of putting together many more shoeboxes excites me! There is a goal number running around in my mind, I am thinking that between both churches we can put together 500 boxes!!
In preparation for packing that many shoeboxes I have started my own shopping for the shoeboxes. Over at Clip With Purpose, there is a posted deal at Dollar General to get washcloths for 0.11 cents each. This is a great deal. Don't forget to use the code HOME50 to save 50% on your purchases. There is also free shipping on orders over 25.00 dollars.
If filling shoeboxes pulls at your heart just a little, I encourage you to follow through and fill just one. That one box will put a smile on a child's face.

Operation Christmas 2013 Spent to date:

2/2013 24.00 216 washcloths @ 0.11 cents each
