Aha! Finally my toothpaste stockpile has dwindled down to zippo. There was a time when I had at least 10 to 15 tubes of toothpaste on hand. Since the move to the new place I have not been as diligent or obsessive about couponing and stockpiling. Well..... time to get back on task and start acquiring more money saving deals. (Without it taking over my life). This is what I bought at Walgreen's this week:
Two 4 oz Colgate Toothpaste 2/6.00. With this purchase you receive a $4.00 register reward to use on your next purchase. My next purchase was that of two 32 load Purex detergents on sale for $1.99 each and a diet orange soda. After using the $ 4.00 register reward, my cost was (with tax) $1.94
First Transaction: Spent 6.39 Savings $1.58
Second Transaction: Spent 1.94 Savings $12.00
If I can "borrow" some of my daughter's Colgate coupons, I just might do this deal again.

I'm working on my stockpile and I currently have 3 tubes of toothpaste, around 5 bottles of shampoo, 5 bottles of conditioner, and around 4 bottles of body wash.
Hi Michelle,
Sounds like you are off to a good start on building your stockpile!
Lisa
Does walgreen automatically give you the rewards or do you need a card?

Hi Judy,
Walgreens automatically gives the register reward. No card needed.
Sounds good to me! It's always a little tough to get started on a stockpile, but you gotta start somewhere!
Thanks for linking up with Wednesday Weekly Shopping at Frugal Follies! I truly appreciate it!
