Job Situation: One week can certainly make a difference. I now am unemployed. I knew it was coming, but when it happened, I was still shocked and hurt. Rejection, even though I was not at fault, is still hard. So I have filed for unemployment and will not try to get through that process. The VP that "eliminated my position" did write me a letter of reference, Big Deal!! What I really need is a job ( insert expletive here) ...... Resumes are being sent daily and I am talking to contacts from my past. Something will come along and I know it will all work out.
Debt Repayment: Last week I paid off a $4500.00 Credit Card. I may have should have waited and only paid half of it since I knew my job was in jeopardy. It is done now, so will just have to move on and try to keep the other credit card in check. I am also holding off re-starting my automatic funding of my ING sub-accounts.
I did update information on my $500 Holiday Challenge here: My Coke Rewards will definitely help keep my costs down this Christmas. Also, SwagBucks is going to help me out too.
In between sending out resumes, I decided to rent a booth at an Antique Store here in town. Here is the before and after of my booth. I have a lot of collectibles that I can get rid of, and this will keep me busy as well.

That's a great idea about the booth. Wishing you luck with that and on the job front.
Thanks Niki! With all this free time on my hands, I have to keep busy. :)
I hope something comes up for you soon!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Good luck with your booth too!
