Food Waste Friday: All Clear Around Here

I am happy to report that as of today, there is no food waste going at my home OR my mom and dad's home.  Last week, I went back to my house and cleared out all the perishables from my fridge.  Here at my mom's house, we have had great friends and family bring meals over, so I have a lot of left-overs but so far none has gone to waste.  Next week could be a totally different story.

Very nice! I must say I kind of failed last week with a bag of broccoli... sigh. I think I'm just sticking with canned and frozen veggies for a while!

Oh man. This reminds me I need to make these pepperoni rolls I've been meaning to make!

Good stuff. We are headed to the inlaws this weekend and taking with us our few items that won't last the weekend. No food waste where we are either.

No waste in two households. Now that's impressive!

Very pleased to hear this. I seem to be becoming something of a 'no waste of food' ninja.

Ughh.. I had a whole tub of hummus to throw out. I was pretty pissed I forgot about.

Congrats on your nothingness.
