Food Waste Friday: It's in the bag.

There is not too much going on in my refrigerator this week. Grocery shopping has been for basic staples such as coffee, milk, bread, sandwich meat. Due to a crazy hectic schedule we had simple meals for dinner or we ate out.

I had good intentions with the lettuce, but it has seen better days.

How was your food waste? Link up to the Frugal Girl and share!

That's not bad... we have roast on the fridge that wasn't very tender & never got finished. :(

Lettuce seems to get the best of all of us sometimes. It was carrots that caused me problems this week. Hope your schedule calms down soon.

we lost some mushrooms because I simply forgot that I put them in a container after I cleaned and diced them. Major DUH for me

Not much this week except for some milk. My son is usually the only one he drinks it with cereal but this week was the end of the line for the gallon we bought. Poor lettuce but it thats all you wasted.

Milk always goes quick around here. My husband loves it.

I have a feeling that carrots will be our next victim of food waste. There is a bag in the the crisper that needs checking on. :)

When it comes to playing video games, you can literally be any character you want. There are many things that you can do, but you must master the right skills to succeed. These tips can help you.

Any game you give your child should be age-appropriate. You can do this easily by checking the game's front packaging or cover for the age rating. Some online games focus on violence, which you should avoid.

Create a safe online gaming environment for your kids. Keep track of the people they're playing with. Certain unsavory individuals have been known to reach children via online video games. It is up to you to protect your children and limit their playmates to those you both understand.

Make the screen brighter. If you can't see the game, you won't be able to play well. You may find that you're frequently being attacked because you can't see. Increase the brightness so you do not miss anything, even if it ruins the dark atmosphere of the game. It will make the colors easier to distinguish and you'll be able to spot your enemies before they spot you.

Be careful when it comes to playing online games. You will sometimes have to pay monthly fees in order to gain access. If you have a child who wants to join an online-gaming site, then you should check it out first. Find out if there are any fees, and if so, whether the game is worth it.

It can be helpful to play a trial version of a game you are unsure about purchasing. These computer game trials are extremely helpful in helping you determine if you want to spend your hard earned cash on a game. If you the trial of a certain game, try buying the full version.

Nintendo's Wii gaming system is good for people who want to get in shape and increase physical activity levels. The Wii works with your own body movements and has an array of games that incorporate fitness.

It's best to try out a game alone first. There is no point playing a game online if you are having trouble playing the traditional version! If the game is too hard, trade it and get something you prefer. It is time to find a new game if you are getting frustrated and do not have fun anymore.

Play online as much as possible. Pitting yourself against the skills of other online players can improve your gaming skills and strategies. You might want to try Role Playing Games or RPGs as a way to branch out from common ps3 gaming. If you can master playing online, you can master any game you try.

If possible, try games out before you buy them at your local library. Most public libraries offer computer games that can be checked out for free. The library usually has game titles for all different systems, so simply call ahead and see if they have the title you want.

Figure out how to operate the safety and parental controls of any gaming system that comes into your home. You can likely make adjustments that keep kids from viewing mature content. Some allow each gaming profile to be customized separately, allowing adults to enjoy games not meant for younger audiences.

You can enjoy video gaming just for fun, or you can get a world of education and enrichment from them. Hopefully you have learned all you need to know about video gaming from this article.
