AT&T U-Verse vs Bright House Cable Update
Last week I was very excited to share that I would be saving money by switching my cable from Bright House Cable to At&T U-Verse.
After all was said and done, I would be saving close to 60.00 to 70.00 dollars a month. Sounds pretty good right? I thought so. Well, I got a phone call from Bright House on Monday. They want me back. Big Time. They are offering a sweeter deal for a longer period of time. They will give me the same amount of channels plus two Movie Channels, the two DVR's (which I didn't have before) the fast cable, and the home phone PLUS a FREE MONTH of SERVICE for ..... (drum roll please.......) 119.95 per month!!! Lets just say I did not hesitate to make the switch back to Bright House. They will be here on Thursday to re-do the boxes and the phone and internet.
I called AT&T to see if they could beat the deal... but they could not. They could only offer a similar deal for 6 months and there was no free month. Now, I am hoping for a smooth transition and must confess, I do like Bright House better. Learning all the Channels on AT&T was a bit overwhelming!

Wow that's fantastic! They must really love YOU! Up here in the snowy cold north of Canada there is such a huge monopoly of these services it really SUCKS! However, I here that things will be opening up soon, more competition from a wider variety of providers and boy will I be ready to make a SWITCH!

I don't think we have AT&T U-Verse but I'll have to check it out. I'm tired of the cable and internet bills increasing so often!
