Which is A Better Deal?

Last week, I went to Target with my 30 one dollar off coupons in hand. The coupons I purchased on Ebay for 3.oo dollars. Luckily I was able to find 30 little bottles of the ALL Detergent. My final cost was 1.70 dollars for the tax. For 4.70 dollars I now have 60 loads of Laundry Soap.

How does that compare to a BOGO of Arm and Hammer Detergent where you will get at least 60 some odd loads for about 6.00 dollars BEFORE coupons ? So you have two 1.00 coupons and the final cost is about the same as it was for the ALL detergent samples.

Next time, I will have to figure out the cost effectiveness of purchasing coupons to buy mass quantities of samples. But it is lots of fun to get all those little bottles for such a small cost!!!

Seems like maybe the A&H would have been a better deal. Hard to tell. According to your post it looks like $4.70 for 60 loads using All or about $4.00 for 60 loads using A&H. So how do you like buying coupons on eBay? How does it compare price-wise to The Coupon Master? That's my coupon go-to of choice. So, tell me, do you get your toothpaste Qs on eBay or The Coupon Master? Hahaha. :)

Hi Erin

Yes, I agree that the A and H was probably a better deal..hindsight is 20/20! At the time of the coupon purchase I was really calculating the actual cost, I was just clicking and buying the coupons! ( A long time impulse shopper here!)
That would explain the "stockpile of toothpaste" that exists in my washroom closet. Hee hee! And as I recall the latest toothpaste coupons are from The Coupon Master. I like The Coupon Master for quickness of delivery, but do wish they had a wider variety. Ebay is pretty cool too!
