Hurricane Fay

You know, I thought we would make it through this hurricane season without an incident. I guess not. Hurricane Fay is currently hanging out down by Cuba and is expected to come our way ( I live in Central Florida) late Tuesday or early Wednesday. These storms are NOT predictable. Fay's path could change ..... at any time.
We are prepared. Non perishables are stocked. The generator is gassed up and ready to go with spare gas to boot. The usual routine. We have done this before and will do as we usually do which is to wait and see.

Hey Lisa, another Floridian here. I am so glad we have a great stockpile. Plenty of food an beverages to ride out the storm.

I like to call Hurricane days our Florida Snow Days. Best wishes to you in Central Florida. We're here on the West Coast within spittin' range of the targeted landfall. Fun times!

Hi Frugal Homemaker!

Best of luck to you too! Hopefully the storm will weaken instead of strengthen....

Lisa, glad to know you have battoned the hatches and are set now instead of at the last minute.

I wish you all the best. Keep us informed as you can. I know if you lose power you'll likely lose your connection generator or not.

Prayers for you and the whole state.

My Aunt and Uncle live down in FL near Orlando I wonder how they are making out with all of this going on. I live in Pa there isn't much for Natural Disasters that can go on here except for floods. Glad to hear you guys are prepared for it tho. I would be scared out of my mind if I lived there with all that going on.
