Lovely. Just lovely. Tropical Storm Fay has stalled about 40 miles south of Central Florida. She is just hanging out.... dumping lots and lots of rain. Oh yes... there is the wind factor. Gusts up to 50-60 MPH....
Fay is expected to head out into the Atlantic Ocean, become a hurricane and then head back over northern Florida. Is that crazy, or what? This should happen in the next day or two. Hurricanes are notorious for their unpredictability! Meanwhile Fay is just hanging out.... and taking her sweet, sweet time.
Most of the schools in Central Florida are closed again tomorrow. What a bummer. The first day of school was Monday and now the kids and teachers have to wait for Fay to make a move before they can get back to their normal routine.
So far, we have only lost power once. And that was only for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, things are going along just fine.

Lisa - I'm excited about finding a "local" blogger - I'm in Central Florida, too. I live out by UCF but didn't see much in the way of rain or wind... pretty mild so far. Stay safe!
