Job Situation: There is not much change here. I did get to go on an interview at a hospital about 30 miles north of me. I feel the the interview went well, just waiting for the call back. I am still sending out resumes. It is definitely a tight job market out there.
Debt Repayment: Until the job situation changes I will be making the minimum payment to my credit card, if the budget allows I will send in more. Here is my updated budget while I am unemployed.
I did update information on my $500 Holiday Challenge here: My Coke Rewards will definitely help keep my costs down this Christmas. Also, SwagBucks is going to help me out too.
While I have been off, my daughter and I have been getting our exercise in. About three times a week, we go walking for about an hour and part of the walk is taking on this huge hill in my daughter's neighborhood. It may not look like much, but looks can be deceiving.
Look at the tip of the hill, you can see two bicyclists ( they are really up there and you can hardly see them) Yeah... this hill is definitely something. But, we are definitely (well, mostly) up to the challenge.

I've been using Swagbucks to help me keep my Christmas budget down also. I've never used Coke Rewards, is it worth me trying?
Good for you for getting some regular exercise. I really need to get back into the swing of things 'round here.
I am going to have to get back on my exercise bike :( After a summer of eating icecream almost every darn day and drinking too much beer and eating out way too often the term "lard-butt" comes to mind!! Hope you hear back from your interview soon!!
Glad you enjoyed your summer! And thanks for the good wishes!
You will! Sometimes it is hard for me to get motivated too. I could do better~
I like coke rewards, it is easy and the points do accumulate quickly over time. I use them for magazine subscriptions mostly. The site has lots to choose from... would not hurt to try it out!
