Job Situation: No changes yet. See here about my job issues. My current position is still being advertised online and in the paper. I have not heard anything at work, but I imagine I will be the last to hear. I am still looking elsewhere for another position. I feel like a "lame-duck" tech. Just there until they find something better.
Debt Repayment: Last week, I received my final paycheck from my former employer which included my sick leave and vacation time. It was enough to pay off my credit card balance of 4300.00 dollars. Cha-Ching!! But I still have a huge credit card balance ($11,000.00) we have put all of our new home repairs and remodeling on that card. Yea.... I know.... cash is better, but the updates were needed. Hoping to slow this down in the next few months.
AVON: I liked selling AVON, but since we moved and I changed jobs, I have lost my customer base. Putting that on the back burner for now.
Plans for the next week include: Re-establishing my ING sub-accounts. Since the move and my husbands and myself job changes, I stopped all auto withdrawals. Our pay periods changed and I was waiting for the direct deposits from employers to start again.
I am also going to update my $500 HOLIDAY CHALLENGE. Christmas will be here before you know it!

I'm sorry about your job issues. Good job on the repayment though!
great update - but it is surely a bummer about the avon & the current job
So sorry to hear about your job...it must be very frustrating not knowing when they will say you have to go..not a good work environment for sure. I've been thinking about the $500 Christmas challenge a lot. I'm not sure I will make it, as I don't have nearly as many "freebies" as I thought I might have. But I KNOW I will do much better than last year!
Hi Sharon,
Yes the job thing is frustrating, but I am going to try to make the best of it. And as far as the Christmas Challenge.... I am sure we will both do MUCH BETTER than last year! :)
Hi Michelle,
Thanks! :)
Hi JP,
It is a bummer about the job and AVON..... but bigger and better things are coming!
