Food Waste Friday

This poor little mango has definitely seen better days.  I bet you didn't even recognize it, did you? It somehow managed to turn itself black due to my neglectful ways.  I am happy to report that this is the only food waste I have to confess this Friday. There have been weeks where I have had to throw out significantly more rotten food.  So this is a small victory for me.

I am joining  The Frugal Girl in sharing my wasteful ways.

Poor little thing has definitely met his maker! ;) lol! Overall, 1 mango isn't bad! Good job! :)

Eek, I thought it was an artichoke at first glance.

Looks like you tried roasting it Lisa. Sometimes no matter how good the intentions and the planning, it's inevitable that there will be some casualties in the fridge :-(

Now what color are mangoes again? You're doing great with only that waste.

Thanks, and this poor mango came home a healthier color than when it left. :)

You're right, it does look a little roasted. :) Here is to a better week next week!

That's funny! But it is.... or was a mango. :)
