SOCCER FANS IN NEW ZEALAND |
Happy Sunday evening! The picture above is courtesy of my cousin who happens to live in New Zealand. I like this picture because all those people in the street represents all the voices in my head. Yes, there is a lot going on in my mind these days! But nothing I can't handle.
Reading?
I am going to start reading "Codependent No More" by Melanie Beattie. I purchased the book about 3 months ago. And when I had time, I did not even pick up the book. Now that I am working, I have decided to take the book to work and read it on break.
Watching?
Watching Ax Men. Love this show!
Listening to?
Our Victorian Bulldog (Princess) snoring on the couch.
Cooking/Baking?
I put frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot with a box of butter garlic rice and some chicken broth. I am hoping that it turns out because if not we will have to figure something else for dinner tomorrow night.
Happy you accomplished this week?
Happy that I re joined the work force. I worked Thursday and Friday last week and it was exhausting but satisfying.
Looking forward to next week?
Yes, I am looking forward to going to work next week. I am also looking forward to having Wednesday off and taking my grandson to SeaWorld.
Thankful for today?
I am thankful for all the chores I finished today. I was able to plant some border grass around one of our large oak trees, wash 2 loads of clothes, and clean washroom out.
Hope you all have a great week! Thanks Carla for hosting!

So glad you are enjoying your new job!! I would love to take our grands to sea world some day, man the price of tickets have gone up!!
"Codependent No More" is a FANTASTIC book! I reread it at least once a year to keep myself on track. :)
thats a good book, one of the 'classics'
New Zealand is one of the many places I want to visit - the landscapes looked so incredible in the Lord of the Rings movies! It will take you a little while to get back into the rhythm of working and not feeling exhausted. Glad you get Wed. off!
I'm very envious of anyone who lives where it's warm enough to plant anything--brrrr, it's freezing here today. Glad that going back to work went well for you!
Hi Vanessa!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope it warms up soon for you and you can plant stuff too!
I would love to visit New Zealand too!
I am going to have to start reading "Codependent No More" instead of just looking at it. I guess I am hesitant on the changes it will make in my life. ")
Hi Debby,
Yes the tickets are expensive, but we picked the annual pass. It is good for one year WITH free parking. Parking is $14.00. Yikes!
