Stepping Up To The Plate and Joining The 30k Challenge

This has been some kind of year for our family.  A move to a new house, a new job, a subsequent layoff, knee surgery, a new job and then my mom's brain cancer.  It is definitely a lot.  But even with all this going on, we still want to get rid of our Stupid Credit Card Debt and then start to pay down our mortgage.

We have already discussed that my husband and I will be living with my mom and dad to take care of them, and I will be the primary caregiver for both.  Our expenses will be lower, but we will only have one income AND no unemployment compensation.   It could be a little tight, don't cha  you know!

I have decided to seek out new ways to make money online by blogging.  This blog has earned a small amount with ads, but I need to learn more about becoming a virtual assistant for other bloggers.  I don't know much about it...yet..... but I will.

Now, it is time to get busy  and make the extra effort to pay down that credit card debt.  So I was reading about other bloggers joining   the Online Money Bloggers Challenge I was motivated to join in too.      Each participant of the challenge will attempt to make $30,000 through online ventures in 2012.   I think this type of challenge will help keep me motivated and engaged through what is bound to be both a difficult, challenging and exciting year for me personally.

My goal is to earn the $30K in 2012, but even if I don't, I know I will have had the opportunity to improve my blogging skills, build blogging relationships, and learn more about becoming a successful blogger.  It is all a plus, if you ask me.  Have you thought about earning money by blogging?   You could stop by the  Online Money Bloggers Challenge   and join in too!
