There Are Some Changes

Over the last few months, my husband has been undergoing a tedious and drawn out interview process at one of the local Health Care Systems.  After three interviews and one physical he was offered a job!  This happened about one month ago, and we have been pushing back the start date due to the pending purchase of the Short  Sale house.  Well, you know how well that has been going... Anyway, we agreed it is time to move forward and change jobs.  As of Monday, he will start at his new job that includes a pay increase and better benefits!

How this affects the Short Sale house.... well..... it does not matter.  We can't continue to put our lives on hold for that.  In fact, we have decided to continue start aggressively looking for a different house that we can purchase.  Now, if the Short Sale house does come through, GREAT.  If not.... well, it just was not meant to be.

My grandson is coming over to spend the night tonight, I am so looking forward to that!  Today is his second birthday, (time flies!!) but we are celebrating it tomorrow along with Mother's Day.

This weekend also marks one year since my oldest son was in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury.  I know I have learned a lot from that moment( I NEVER want to go through that again), and I pray that he has too.

Enjoy your Saturday!

I agree with the decision for your husband to move jobs. If the short sale house is meant to be, it will be. I hope so for your sake but if not, you will find something else better suited for you. Good for your hubby!

I can't imagine having a child with a brain injury. I'm sure it was a terrible time for you.

Congratulations to your husband on his new job. The ups and downs of waiting for a short sale house can be so hard, but you've got the right attitude.

I hope your son continues to do well after his traumatic brain injury. That must have been so hard for you.

Have fun with your little grandson! I so love when my granddaughter comes for a "sleepover".

Lisa, congratulations to your husband on the new job and your son on his continued recovery.

What a bummer about the short sale -- I know you'll end up where you're meant to be.

P.S. Happy Mother's Day!

Nice about the job! As for the house--you have to take the position that it will, one way or another, work itself out. It's not like there is only one perfect home for your family.

I love grandkids--really, I should have skipped directly to them!

I can't even ask about the short sale anymore! What an ordeal you've been through - there must be some "message" in this experience somewhere but i don't know what it is! Congrats to hubby for landing an even better job - I know his old one was somewhat seasonal so sounds like this one will be stable year round!
