Menu Plan Monday ~ Oct 24

Getting back in the groove has proven to be cost effective.   Last week I did start or I should say re-start my menu planning.  It was a definite money saver.  No surprise there to those of you who do plan your menus.  As I planned this week's menu, I did notice that the menu was a little heavy on the pork.  Hmmm......
Oh well, we are going with it!   The weather here (Central Florida) has become a bit cooler so all of these dinners sound really good.  (Maybe menu planning should not be done on an empty stomach)

Monday:  Ham and Potato Soup

Tuesday:  Baked Spaghetti, Tossed Salad

Wednesday:  Eggs, Bacon and Grits

Thursday:  Pork Chops, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Whole Wheat Biscuits, Tossed Salad

Friday:  Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup (Easy!!)

Saturday:  Homemade Lasagna (birthday dinner for a friend)

Sunday:  Leftovers from Saturday

I feel so fat. I've been eating out everyday for the past 2 weeks. I gained like 15 pounds. Terrible.
