The New Job...... Is History

No, that did not take long at all.  The new job is in the the past.  The determining factor was the stress and its effects on me.  When I am stressed to the max, I experience vertigo.  Vertigo so severe that I cannot even get up out of bed til noon.  That is what happened today.  The vertigo is a sure sign that I will have to call it quits.  It is not worth it to me to be physically ill over a job.

Yes, It will suck until I can secure another job.  But for now, I will be just fine.  This afternoon I will be taking my grandson to the park..... and that will definitely make me happy and relaxed.  Tomorrow is a new day!  Thanks to all for your support!

No job is worth your health! Sorry it didn't work out. Had no idea it was that bad. If you were getting sick from it so early on, it definitely was not worth staying there. I hope you can find something so much better and relaxing soon. Have a relaxing day with your grandson.

Sorry to hear that, but definitely not worth that kind of stress. Hopefully you will find something soon that will be a good fit for you!

Good on you for having the bravery to live life on your terms. I once walked out on a job after 2 weeks. I didn't even bother to collect any wage. I knew it would be stressful and it didn't pay well either, so I though what's the point. If I had waited until I found another job I could have been there for months, maybe even longer. It's far harder to find a job when you are stressed at another.

I am really sorry to hear this. But not a single job is worth losing health and quality of life over it. I've read your previous post about the job and I think you made the right decision. I am glad you got rid of it! Get better!

I had to do that with my last job. It was the people who were making me a mess but really the stress was unbelievable. I only stayed two weeks but thank goodness I found this job right away and I love it.

Tomorrow is another day!

Sorry to hear this. Was it the actual job or trying to juggle everything going on in your life right now?

When I read it for the first time, I was sorry to hear this news. But hey... better times can come! And I strongly believe in that. I hope you had a great time with that young gentleman. Rest well, relax and I'm sure we'll hear a good news soon about another job opportunity!
