| mom and dad back in the day |
My husband and I have spent evenings after work siting with dad and mom and my days off are also spent at mom and dad's. I would just pack a bag and stay there but mom is quirky about her independence and we are respecting her wishes. When she is ready, she will ask for more help.
We stand on the side lines doing what we can and supporting them both as much as possible. My dad is a fighter and has been for the last 90 years.
