Happy Friday and a Giveaway

Whimiscal Wallet Giveaway! Enter Below

What have you accomplished this week?  This was a week off for my husband and I, and we did manage to get some things accomplished.  The yard is mowed and edged, the garage is cleaned out, some of my eBay stuff is organized (but a lot of it still needs attention).

Mom had several appointments that we had to take care of, but the outlook is good regarding her healing process post surgery.  We did not take any trips this time, as I think it would have exhausted mom so maybe next time.

Our new refrigerator was delivered yesterday and it looks all pretty and shiny.  Plus, the water and ice dispenser work and it does NOT leak on the floor.  It is the small things that make me smile.  Our savings took a hit due to the purchase, but it was worth every penny.

The next couple of days will be busy with last minute projects that need to get finished before we both go back to work next week but what gets done will get done.  I am not stressing over it too much.  There is a small painting project that definitively needs to get completed, so we will be busy with that.  Pictures to follow.

Now for the Giveaway!  I don't know about you but I love Carla's beautiful handcrafted items.  In fact, I love them so much I wanted to share the opportunity to win one of her whimsical wallets that she made special just for this giveaway!  This is a new giveaway widget I discovered, so I hope it works!!

Can ship to US or Canada only!

Good Luck!

The giveaway isn't working for me. Oh well, very happy to hear the news about your mom. I wish we could mow our lawn. We still have a ton of snow here.

I love Carla's sewing as well. She has a great eye for putting colours and patterns together. This wallet is beautiful.

Christmas!?! Are you kidding??? What is that? LOL When I am on top of my game I shop all year long, but now not so much I wait until September to start.

I know people who shop year-round for Christmas. Unfortunately, I can't plan that far ahead, LOL! So, no, not too soon!

Did my comment disappear? To answer the question--no. (having trouble with the giveaway app)

Not too early to start Christmas shopping if you know what you want to buy.

Never too early to start Christmas shopping!

I agree! I buy all year, but I then have to remember what I bought for whom!

If I see something that suits a family member, I will buy it. But then I have to remember that I bought it and where I put it.

Hi Jill, Thanks for your patience with the giveaway app. It is a new gadget for me too!

I buy all year round.

I try to be prepared and have most of it done by Sept, but ..... that is not always the case.

I'm always Christmas shopping-if I see something someone would like, it goes into the gift cupboard. That way it's easy come December :)

I am with ya on the early shopping!

Lisa said...

Exactly! Always better to be prepared year round :)

No, it is not to early to start shopping. The earlier then I will not forget anyone!
