CVS Savings 8/28

My couponing skills are improving. With the help of my daughter,I have been able to save a great deal of money on the things that I need and will use.  She worked Saturday night at the hospital and I was up early at 6AM to run to the 7-11 to pick up extra papers.  I receive one paper at home and I pick up three more.  My daughter also  has a total of four papers.  By the time she was off at 7AM I had sorted my coupon fliers and clipped the ones I was going to use.

St. Joseph's aspirin @ $2.00 (receive $2 ECB) and I used a $1.00 coupon so the final cost was $1.00.  There are two aspirins in the picture, that is because my daughter did the deal and gave me hers.  Her dad takes an aspirin a day.

The Skippy Peanut Butter was on sale for $1.67 (3 for $5.00).  I used two $1.00 coupons and the $2.00 ECB from the Bayer Aspirin from the previous transaction.  I needed to add a pack of gum (not shown cause we ate it already) or else CVS would have owed me money from transaction!  My out of pocket was .30 cents.

My out of pocket was $1.31 and I saved $8.19!   I Love coupons! LINK  YOUR DEALS HERE

Sometimes I have to hide things until I get a chance to take pictures or my husband will eat them first, or more likely give it away to someone he things really needs it.

You're lucky to have a daughter to coupon with. I have a grown son who's only interest in couponing is what I have extra when he stops by..lol. :-)

Hi Pat, If I don't take pictures right away, things will get eaten as well! I try to snap a picture as soon as I walk in the door. Then I can put it up and not worry about it!
