Menu Plan Monday July 8,2013 Weight Watcher Edition

We need to get back on track with our menu planning and eating better.  My husband and I are both overweight so we have decided to get with it and join Weight Watchers.   The last two years have been filled with family drama and stress.  Losing both my parents in the last 6 months has definitely increased my stress and I handle stress by eating junk food.  


Now we are counting points and adding exercise to our routine.  This weekend I have been online searching out easy and tasty Weight Watcher oriented recipes.  Here are a few that we will be using this week:

Monday:   Sweet Potato Cauliflower Soup   This recipe looks easy and is a great way to get vegetables in our diet.

Tuesday:  Skinny Meatloaf

Wednesday:  Skinny Chicken Pot Pie     We love chicken pot pie, and this recipe is only 7 points per serving.

Thursday:  Pizza Logs   Great for when you are craving pizza!

Friday:  Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole   Total comfort food.

Each meal is accompanied by a green salad and or fruit.

I rejoined Weight Watchers in early January and have lost 28 pounds so far. As they say, if you work the plan, the plan works!
