Note to Self

Dear Self:

You have again wasted money.  You have joined a gym AND you have engaged a personal trainer ( with money from graduation) to assist you in getting in shape.  Things were going well at first.  You lost weight, toned up and your clothes started to fit better.

Self.... you again repeated the cycle of overeating and non exercise.  Now you cannot even look your  trainer in the eye.  You know you are wasting his time and yours.  Yes, there has been drama in your life.  It seems that will never change.  So... Self... SNAP  OUT OF IT!!!  Get back on track... literally and figuratively

Invest in yourself.  Let go of the things you cannot change.  Embrace yourself and seek to improve your physical well being.

That is all.

The Weight Game

The weekly weigh in was this morning. No change to report, which is pretty good. The positive is that there was no weight gain! And I am okay with that :).
This last week was a bit hectic, and how do I deal with turmoil? I will confess that Reese Cups are a weakness. Last week was definitely a Reese Cup week. But I feel more in control and will be more prepared when it comes to bringing lunches and sodas to work. Saves me from going to the 7-11, which will keep me out of the candy aisle.
Scale is still at 213.

The Weight Game

The weekly weight posting. Not my most favirte post, to be sure.
I usually try to weigh every day, just to keep tabs on how things are going. This week has been more chaotic than most. The new job f which I only kept for three days or three days, and then happily going back to my old job.

And then there is the home improvement project of putting down new laminate through out most of the house. This is quite a job but the outcome is well worth the time and mess involved.

Needless to say, my house as well as my professional life were in a bit of a mess. The impact of these particular events have reflected in my weight. The scale says I am now at 213 lbs. I did it three times so the scale must be right. I did not post my weight last week, but I think I need to in order to keep track better. I was writing it down and keeping it posted on the refrigerator, but since we moved EVERYTHING to put the floor in, I can't find it. At least not yet.

The Weight Game

Approaching the end of January I wanted to update on my weight. Well no, I really don't want to, but I have to have accountability even if it is anonymous. My initial weight for the new year was posted in Goals for 2007 and at that time I weighed 201. Well don't you know that my weight has slowly elevated from 201, to as high as 215 since Jan 1. Good Lord Have Mercy!!!!

I am an eating machine out of control (again!!!). Last week we (hubby and daughter) started our jogging/walking 2 miles. We did it 4 times last week and will attempt to keep up that pace.

I did not go back to the weight loss center Transformations because I have not budgeted for it (yet). It is about 50.00 dollars per week and it does work but for now I will put that 50 dollars somewhere else.

Anyway, I will eat better and work out more. And I will be more accountable to the blogging world. Long term goal is to get down to 150. Short term goal is to get under 200 (again).
